I tried 4 times yesterday to order repeat prescriptions for myself and my wife As required I entered all personal details and ticked all relevant boxes I entered all our items in the boxes shown (I actually find it a bit odd that the size/qty is obsolete as the drop down items include the size/qty details!) I asked for a confirmation by email. After clicking send all I got was a blank screen And no email came So I rang the surgery .. it says if you have a problem ring !! "Sorry the prescription person has gone home" I tried to enter my request again this morning Still the same outcome So I rang again and this time was put through to a quite stroppy prescription dept lady! When I explained what had happened she said it must be my fault because other patients have successfully requested prescriptions online. I asked if she could help me and she said that my computer was my problem. No asking what I had done .. didn't want to help me sort the problem whereas I am happy to help if this is something that doesn't work for some. And she said that I should try again tomorrow I said that I didn't agree that I should try again as I had already tried 4 times but I offered to bring my laptop into the practice to see why the system is not working .. she quite rudely told me no way! All she would offer was to take our request over the phone there and then which I did. Maybe this lady needs to read your "Practice Charter" especially items 1, 3 and 6! After putting the phone down I attempted to order using my iPhone .. same outcome .. which really does tell me and your lady that it is not my laptop! As I suspected ! She said that your system works for other patients therefore it should work for mine ... my reply to that is that my laptop works on every other website that I use !! Only yours is a problem! I have several other comments to make such as when I registered my wife I tried to use my email address (she doesn't have one!) and your system rejected my request as " this email address has already been used". Luckily I have an alternative email address .. not everyone does!
