This is the perfect rural surgery. I can book appointments, repeat prescriptions on line and this is relayed to the pharmacy in Hawkshead. All extremely efficient. I went to this surgery while on holiday in the area, after becoming aware that I had a urinary infection. I was sympathetically received, and was fitted in to see the doctor as quickly as possible. An examination was promptly carried out and a prescription issued. The whole procedure was done efficiently, calmly, and in a very friendly and re-assuring way. My warmest thanks to the staff involved.

This is the best practice I have ever been to. You can always be seen if you need to either by appointment or at a drop in. Receptionists are friendly and helpful. Both doctors are excellent and it great that whenever I go I will know the doctor and they seem to remember me. I choose to stay at this practice even though I now live a distance away and there are lots of closer practices. That's how good it is, I know if I change I will be a faceless cog in the system instead of a a real person who is cared about.

This is without doubt the best medical practice in Great Britain. The doctors, indeed the whole team is fantastic and I have been looked after over the many years I have attended the practice in an exemplary fashion. The only way it could possibly be improved is for the suits in the NHS to get off their fat backsides and build them a new surgery.

We were staying in Hawkshead on a mini-break after new year and our baby was ill so we needed to visit this practice twice. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and even the other patients were too. The doctor examined our little one thoroughly and gave great advice. A fantastic doctor's surgery!
