I ring from 8am and rarely get through. Then when I do their is no appointments or triage calls left for the day. Its very annoying when you try again the next day and it's the same thing.
The surgery and staff are excellent but during these Covid times it’s difficult to get the type of appointments you want. The surgery though do try. The Drs were brilliant when I had Covid in Sept.
The Surgery has had many improvements over the years I have lived here - and is a modern, clean looking building. However, I am afraid that's where the improvements end. Overall, in my opinion, since moving here 15 years ago and being really pleased with our new surgery, I cannot believe how it has gone downhill in the last few years. Total and utter lack of continuity. We are not regular attenders (touch wood!) and so am appalled by the lack of interest shown in me when I do actually bother to go. I fear going forward - with the ageing process or ill health - when I might need the service more. Staunch supporter of the NHS - worked in the organisation for 32 years.
Could not believe that the walk in contraception has been stopped with no warning to any service user. This is awful, this surgery has a duty of care to all patients. It’s left young girls and older women unable to receive their contraception, when I spoke to the lady on reception she couldn’t wait to get me off the phone. How can you only have one doctor/ nurse that does contraception. I think this is awful. I will be leaving this doctors and going elsewhere! Shut this place down. You can never get an appointment, even if you ring up as soon as the doors open they seem to all be taken. They are just lazy. Shut it down.
Appalling and unhelpful attitude, never any appointments without an argument and having to face an intrusive inquisition by an often rude, non-medically qualified receptionist.
