Really difficult to get through on the phone, get cut off if more people ahead even when call at exactly 8.30am. When I went in to surgery to explain I couldn't get through on the phone I was told they couldn't help as unable to book in person which seems ridiculous. An email system giving information, as other surgeries have, would help as engage and consult also gets full very quickly. Booking ahead to review results was about a 5 week wait. When saw the GP he was very professional, as was the GP who took pity on me and called me back even though I was on the waiting list!

Suggested improvements
To make it easier to contact and speak to a GP.

I am very disappointed with the communication and lack of support from Harold road surgery. I wasn’t able to get an appointment, recently after speaking with the GP over the phone- I am wondering whether to change my GP practice entirely, I’ve been with Harold road all my life.

Suggested improvements
Just better communication and understanding

The care is always fantastic and the surgery is always clean and professional, it's just the beginning of the day race to get an appointment, and illusive time when we'll be seen if we get an appointment. When it is a work day is incredibly tricky

Suggested improvements
More availability, but I appreciate the NHS is on its arse and you guys are trying your best, it's a government issue

I had a regular bp test and it was found that it was low. The nurse acted on this, spoke to a doctor who has altered my medication and asked me to return after 2 weeks, great reaction

Suggested improvements
Not a lot other than seeing a doctor straight away which is not practical at the moment

I called to see a GP regarding my diabetes medication which needs increasing from 1 metformin a day to 4 a day as Lloyds direct still have it at 1 a day and I run out 4 times quicker. I also needed a quatersone injection for a trapped nerve having not slept for 11 days. A physio saw me informing me she could not administer pain relief, I saw no GP and reception advised me I couldn’t see a GP until 28th June. This caused me to spend 11 hours in A&E, a wasted journey to Harold Road Surgery and now I’m having to find alternative ways to get my diabetes medication. You’ve always helped 100% but yesterday I was seriously let down with no care or attention to my situation. I need blood tests, blood pressure tests, medication reviews and dietary advice but it seems my surgery is no longer forthcoming with the help I need.

Suggested improvements
On this occasion everything could have been done better. I was totally let down and nobody would listen to me.
