No Deaf accessibility, I've queried about this before. I know there's four Deaf people who use this practice, and there's probably more. Not allowed to use email to get in contact. Whilst receptionists understand how Text Relay works, for us users it's not that straightforward to get through, and not all Deaf people want personal information said to a 3rd party. Not all Deaf people have a basic written level of English to type what they want to say on Text Relay for an operator to repeat or understand what the operator has written back (British sign language uses different word placements) No visual alerts at the surgery for names being called, masks sometimes worn during it too. Noone knows BSL or SSE. Interpreters very rarely booked. Engage consult always has "reached maximum number of messages" (I'm shocked the person who commented said he was able to get through) Lack of Deaf awareness throughout the staff members aside from Dr Knou.

I am very grateful to have Harold Road Surgery as my doctors. I think they do the best they can under extreme circumstances. I got to see nurse Holly Knight who was fantastic.

I understand how hard it is to get through. But when you do everyone is so helpful, thank you,

Much easier to get through on the phone but difficult to actually get an appointment. I did get one eventually but had to keep getting in touch and explaining situation to several different people
