Dr Boyle was extremely rude. Sat waiting over a hour for a appointment that was pre booked. Turns out the reason your waiting so long is due to the receptionist team and dr deciding to eat cheesecake instead of see clients. Wouldn’t recommend. Will not return.

I would like to praise the receptionists who were on duty this morning ( Fri 21/9/18 ).
There were no appointments available in any of the surgerys but when l told them the problem an elderly member of my family had they quickly acted to sort it out.
Within a very short time a nurse and doctor had been involved and a prescription was ready to be collected.

I HAVE LIVED UP IN CUMBRIA NOW 10 MONTHS AND JUST VERY IMPRESSED BY THIS SURGERY AT GRIFFIN CLOSE OVERALL A LOVELY PLACE WITH EXCELLENT STAFF AND ESPECIALLY THE RECEPTIONISTS WHO ARE BRILLIANT AT THE JOB AND THE DOCTORS INDEED ARE HELPFUL AND GIVE SUCH GOOD SERVICE WHEN ONE NEEDS THEM , REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS ARE ALWAYS DONE SO WELL AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE ALONG WITH THE OTHERS IN THIS AREA I HAVE HAD TO USE SINCE MOVING HERE LAST AUGUST .BEST WISHES TO ALL CONCERNED FROM BARRIE IN ARLECDON CUMBRIA RETIRED AGED 68 .

The reception staff need to undergo training inpatient communication.
Having waited 40 minutes for a pre-booked 9.30 appointment, I was told that the receptionist had no idea why appointments were running late. Nor did she seem in the least interested.
If a surgery is running late, it seems only good manners to inform patients as to how late appointments are running, rather than having patients just sitting until called.

Very good small surgery positively needed , there should be more small surgeries that have the personal touch especially in rural areas.
