Saw the Phlebotomist Mrs Caroline Smith today for blood tests. Was feeling nervous as I have Fibromyalgia and am currently suffering considerable amount of pain especially in my arms. FMA increases pain sensitivity so hence not keen for several files of blood to be taken. Within 'seconds' all bloods taken, no pain and not even a bruise....I think that says it all. Thank you Greystone you have the best staff throughout.

It seems that the electronic sign-in system is still not functioning properly, I signed in and waited half an hour without being called for my nurse appointment. I checked with the receptionist and she said it hadn't registered, this has been going on for years. There used to be a sign up telling you to check with reception if you hadn't been called within a certain time but this has gone. Even when I checked in I still had to wait a further 20 minutes before I was called which meant I was out of time on my car park ticket. I was just about to rebook the appointment when I was called so I went in, however the nurse was brusque and seemed to think the the system malfunction was an every day occurrence. The ear procedure was quick however the water was too hot and the pressure too high resulting in quite a painful experience. Overall not a very satisfactory visit.

Great service. Staff always pleasant and willing to help. Clean and tidy facilities. Little difficult to pre-book planned appointments, but emergency appointments are usually available same day. Definitely can recommend. From what I have heard from colleagues and friends, the best practice in the area.

It is one of the best surgeries I have ever attended including when I lived in Africa as well when I lived in Scotland. The receptionists, Doctors and nurses are all pleasant are helpful and listen properly to what one has to say. I have dreaded having blood tests all my life because of my veins but since joining this practice there has never been a problem. My underactive thyroid and allergic asthma is monitored carefully and I know if I tell the doctor that something is not right they will listen to me and and do something about it immediately. I have complete confidence in all of the staff, doctors nurses and the other staff who work at this surgery.

I was hit by a bad chest infection and called to make an emergency appointment as soon as the surgery opened. The receptionist said she had nothing available but after telling her my symptoms she arranged for a callback from a GP. I did not have to wait too long for a call and Dr Sue managed to squeeze me in. The surgery was very busy but all the receptionists are all lovely. The waiting area is clean and there is lots of information to read on the walls. Dr Sue was lovely and very caring. Would definitely recommend the surgery for people living in the area.
