Receptionists bed side manner leaves a lot to be desired. Almost look down their noses at you and they think they are more than they actually are. Given wrong advice by a health care assistant and they are not up to speed on NHS services provided. They don't know what a fit note is even when it's plastered all over government websites asking for them. Complaints are not conveyed from the receptionists to the doctors in line with best practice. All the staff here need a massive training curve.

Came to surgery today. New staff. Stood at reception for ages. Nurse on phone didn't even acknowledge me. Finally receptionist came to desk. Told me to go to the screen and check in. Another patient came in, needed prescription for insulin that he brought to surgery on Sunday. Reception said not ready need 48 hrs to get it signed!!! Poor man was sent away with no insulin as receptionist would not knock Dr's door to get it signed. Patient needed insulin for his breakfast. Dread to think how these two ended up in a caring profession as all they wanted to do was chat among themselves.

I arrived on time for my son's inoculations only to be told there was no stocks. They might arrive next week! No confidence in this practice. The poster said 97% satisfaction but when I asked for a feedback form I was told there was none available!
