i have been trying for the last 4 weeks or since 24th January 2024 to get an appointment for follow up treatment after attending a hospital appointment. i keep on trying every day at 11am and then being told there is no appointment left. then speaking to the receptionist to be told to try the next working day. I was told all appointments today were gone by 11:10am meaning how many appointments are they offering each day for them to be gone within 10 mins of the lines opening

try another way of making appointments, my dads surgery you fill in an questionaire online and they then decide if you are needing to be seen by a gp, nurse or nursing practioner and thats with fife healthboard so why can they do this here in falkirk

Totally impossible to see a GP face to face have tried 3 days in a row to get an appointment, told to phone at 11 only to get engaged tone for 25 minutes then told no appointments left. There supposed to be 3 doctors here and you cant get to see one. Spoke to other people at different surgeries and they have no problem. Believe me i have tried to change surgeries and was told that you cant as places were being kept for outsiders coming into the area,??? Everyone is back to work after covid Hospital staff are back to normal but trying to get to see a GP No chance, I am at the stage trying to buy medication online. Something is far wrong with this system.

Get a better system to be able to get a GP apponitment

Tried from 8 this morning to get appointment after 145 times trying eventually got through 40 mins later to be told to phone back at 11. Then from 11 and after 266 try’s had enough and went down to surgery to get appointment! Absolute joke! Staff need to be trained better to show compassion and sympathy for their patients!! Extremely unhelpful.

Could treat patients better and show some consideration for the patient’s instead of trying to snub them off. That’s what a doctor surgery is for to see a doctor when you can get to see one instead of a phone consultation so they can decide if you need to go down! How can they tell over a phone?!

Most awful medical practice. No duty of care whatsoever. Receptionists rude/unhelpful. Close to impossible to acquire an appointment. Once you do it is likely to be cancelled leaving you at square one. Be prepared to be taken to hospital before this lot take notice. My own and neighbor personal experience

Its the reception staff well one in particular didn't catch her name but she is no help at all if you are taking a job like the receptionist of a doctors i would say you are ment to be helpful especially now with covid as it seems the receptionist is our doctor right now she is no help talks down to you and bu the sound of her voice gets pleasure out of not helping knowing if she doesn't help you will be at a loss. She really shouldn't be doing a job that her heart isn't in. I know covid has messed up alot but not getting the health care we need or having a receptionist that even wants to help us. We still need health care and it taking weeks to get a telephone appointment is shocking

Get new receptionist rhat wants to help people instead of pausing and not answering or even seems like she wants to help
