Again, I have rang for an appointment for my hip, which is causing me pain to walk, to be told I have to wait 14 Days! There is something seriously wrong here. I have been asked by the receptionist if I have visited A&E? This shocked me as you see time and again on TV that wherever possible you should see your GP in the first instance. When I told her no, that I need to be reviewed for referral for my injury, she said I would have to ring at 8am in the morning to try and get an emergency appointment, but that was not guaranteed. I am gob smacked to say the least.
