when you call the surgery they don’t answer phone longest time on hold is 1hour and 15mins. they always short staffed and close the surgery on Tuesday afternoons to “train staff” no urgent same day appointments they tel you to go walk in or A&E. not the great surgery it used to be like 5years ago every since it’s had lots of new staff it’s gone downhill..as for gp’s hardly has any regular ones so you see different gp and have to explain the whole problem you have again and they don’t listen and just rush the appointment want you gone asap.

Suggested improvements
Answe the phone calls in under 10min would help have more urgent same day appointments available with gp’s. And not give appointments with nurses or paramedics who are not trained same level as gps!

The only complaint that I have is that the plastic token system in place at Goldsworth Park is a bit primitive in this day and age although is does have the advantage of you knowing where you are in the queue. In the other practice in Woking they have an automatic check in facility which helps the receptionists. I usually book any appointment on line well in advance so I very rarely use the phone to book so cannot comment on its effectiveness. I recently needed to have a blood test and I was told (quite rightly) that I could not book one with the nurse without a Doctor signing the forms. I was given a choice either come back later for an appointment or receive a telephone call. A Doctor rang me later that day and after a short discussion sign the forms. A good service.

Please see comment on Review of Dr. Pereira' THE SYSTEM,which does not allow appointments to be made more than 3 week(? Period seems to vary!) especially when it seems impossible to be informed exactly when the next booking session is going to open so that you can try to get through to appointments before there are none left again, IS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING.

Great doctor and care..... infrastructure isn't wonderful (but not awful either) but thats not the most important thing! IT hasn't worked efficiently on my last 2 visits which has been more of a problem for the doc than me.... but it can't help the smooth running of the GPs clinics....

The Doctors and staff are always caring and kind and couldn't be more helpful. However the seats in the waiting area are pretty revolting and could definitely do with a good clean.
