The ladies at the reception need to smile more often and a couple of GPs have an old-fashioned "know-it-all" Victorian approach to patient care, but apart from that Gillies is generally a very good health centre where patients receive good care. Apart from the medical staff, the admin staff and in particular the Practice Manager, Mr Des McCarthy, are the best I've ever encountered, remaining impartial and quick to deal with any patient concern.
