It would help immensely if contacts promised actually materialised. I have tried to contact a clinical pharmacist for the past 6 weeks, with 3 promised calls that haven't happened. I have eventually had to see a consultant urologist at Colchester General Hospital to obtain necessary blood test form as part of my cancer care program. I know the pressure caused by the pandemic is great on the NHS, but the rest of us also need help.

Very disappointed. My daughter is in the middle of exams and was asked to come in for a medication review. She took time off of school as she had no option, only to arrive and be told that her appointment had been cancelled. This is the second time that this has happened and it is really poor practice not to notify patients.

When your repeat prescription is submitted in ample time and you only get Seven items instead of Thirteen after several calls to the ' Hub' still nothing happens ( you are not even phoned back like the message says WITHIN 2 WORKING DAYS and then as a last resort you try to make an appointment to see a doctor and the operator tells you " no it's sorted out and it's been sent to the chemist" only to find out that at 18.30 pm by the chemist that they have received nothing and the surgury is closed, what do you do. The medication that I take is vital as I have had three heart attacks and a damaged sciatic nerve and are in constant pain and the medication can only be stopped by the doctor, what can you do. Problems arise month after month recently and one tends to blame the chemist but they can only give you what the surgery says or sends over on the computer . On Saturday evening when I take my last supply of tablets I will have to go to the hospital and try and get more for Sunday and after that, what do you do, we'll start again of course that is if you are still sane enough and if your not ' What can you do.
