You are asked to contact them via the online system. I told them I was in pain and needed a medication review. I have heard absolutely nothing from them other than the standard acknowledgement of the receipt of my request. Today I went to pick up my repeat prescriptions at the pharmacy to be told the practice is 3 weeks behind in authorising repeat prescriptions. I’m on heart tablets and my husband is on blood pressure tablets. We could be dead before they authorise our prescription again !! Let’s hope we aren’t.
Took 30+ attempts to get onto the telephone waiting list and then took 58x minutes to get to speak to someone - no I am not making this up they are that bad
They fail to keep promises, overall they seem in a state of complete chaos
The online messaging system is ignored by staff. Both messages to doctor and reception.
I had an appointment this morning for a blood test and blood pressure check - everything was spot on - the receptionists were extremely helpful , friendly and efficient and the assistant that dealt with me was first class, a credit to the practice.
I was extremely impressed and, although we’ve only been with this practice for 2 years, the service we’ve had has been faultless and a class above our last surgery- thank you.
If you feel tired and have kidney pain and ask for blood test, a practitioner from Friary House Surgery tells you that you can always go to private for blood test, because they don’t do it necessary. Why are we registered with a GP?
If you need to talk to a doctor after blood test results you can only call at 8 am if you want to be called that day, otherwise you are scheduled on Friday. They should understand that there are people who are working night shifts and can’t call early in the morning.
