Shocking and stressful experience. My usual meditation my dr prescribes the chemist had “stopped making it” when I went to pick it up , they advised me to go to the drs to get something “similar” i had completely ran out of this medication and struggle to get through the day without it so I was panicking. I arrived at 8.30 soon as the doctors opened the next day to try and get an appt, it also meant me having unpaid time at work which I can’t afford. I was told by the rude unsympathetic receptionist that there was no appointments and I will have to book the next available. I explained this wasn’t my fault they had messed up with my medication and shouldn’t have prescribed me something they don’t even make anymore! I also explained that I will become poorly if I don’t get the medication, I also got upset and began to cry, then miraculously she found an appt for me (obviously had one all along) the receptionists need to work on their people skills and the doctors need to update them self’s on what’s available and what isn’t! I have lost out on money and also been so stressed from thinking I’m going to be stuck with nothing and become ill.
