Fern house has improved considerable in the last 3 years. The staff are now all excellent. The nurses are so friendly and remember you. The building is old but it’s being improved slowly. It still takes time to get an appointment but the modernisation has helped with processes.

Not that I wish to be woke but the bew log in screen asks male or female…. I am sure other should be an option to avoid complaints. People do love to complain. Surgeries can be a depressing place. The old faded art should go and a notice board in each room with a photo of the GP and brief description of them and their speciality would be good. If you know they are human you tend to treat them differently. I would imagin if people know the gp runs marathons and has dogs this makes them more relatable. Would be a good read when you’re in the waiting room too.

As Witham has expanded so the surgery has become almost overwhelmed. Increased numbers of patients has made it difficult to attain access.

We need more doctors and more surgeries. Access to existing doctors is difficult. A national problem - not one that pertains only to this surgery.

I have never experienced getting an appointment with my GP, nurse or pharmacist. All are extremely professional, kind and helpful.

In my opinion, there is nothing more. The surgery provides excellent and exceptional service and care.

On the whole Fern House surgery is very good. The pharmacists, the nurses and the reception, all do their best to be helpful even when they are busy.

With the whole system under pressure, I don't know what more they can do.

Sometimes the wait on the phone is long. But they work hard and they are all good and polite when you speak to them
