The recently introduced "queueing" phone system is a vast improvement on the previous system and although a call can take 20, 30, 40 or more minutes to be answered at least we know we will eventually get through, or request a return call. I have recently been very impressed by the service given by receptionists at the surgery in arranging appointments and also phoning me to ask me to make appointments to follow up blood test results - thank you.

It is good to see normal service resumed at Fern House... but I wonder if and when the Wickham Bishops surgery will re-open after Covid-enforced closure.

I have been with Fern hose surgery for forty years. During which time I have seen many Doctors, Nurses and the Pharmacy. All of whom have been and are excellent. The whole practice is very well organised and very efficient.

It would be good if one didn’t have to wait so long for an appointment but I understand that the surgery is under great pressure at all times due to the huge number of patients. I do appreciate that in an emergency one is usually seen same day or given advice what to do

Try to shorten the call ques so people could get through a lot quicker
