I have always been totally satisfied by, and deeply appreciative of, the service provided by the Farley Road surgery. While it is often necessary to wait a week for a non-urgent appointment, as soon as you say it is urgent you are given an appointment that day. That's my experience, anyway. The receptionists are always courteous and helpful, and all the GPs - and the practice nurse - are everything you would want them to be. They listen, discuss the possible medication or treatment, and are always sympathetic and reassuring. As a chronic migraine sufferer, I particularly value the promise I was given that they would not withdraw medication that is helpful, even though it is expensive for the practice. In that regard they have referred me to what is probably the best neuro hospital in Europe, where I am receiving excellent, pioneering treatment, even though it has yet to prove successful. I am still hopeful though, and I could not receive better treatment anywhere. For another problem the practice referred me speedily for surgery at Croydon University Hospital when needed. In other regards, in my retirement years, I seem to be turning into a member of the 'worried well', but the GPs are very patient with me! I will try not to bother them unnecessarily. Oh, and when I suffered a sudden bout of depression, which was truly awful, they were exceedingly helpful and supportive.

I mainly visit the surgery for blood tests and appointments with the Diabetic nurse. I find the monitoring of my diabetes (Type 2) very efficient. I have confidence in the doctors whom I have seen recently (mainly Doctor Cockle, occasionally Dr. Jasper)and am generally pleased with the practice. In an emergency I have, in the past found it possible to get an appointment with a doctor on the day I phoned. The on line services for ordering pills and booking appointments save a lot of time and hassle and are very efficient. One slight quibble, when I received my most recent supply of tablets the slip said that I had not had my medication reviewed since January 2013. This is incorrect as I see the diabetic nurse every 6 months (or more frequently if necessary) and Dr Cockle checks my blood and urine test results. Perhaps this should have been checked by someone as had it been that my medication had not been reviewed for over 18 months I might have been in trouble!

I Like that you can do appointments and reorder prescriptions online this saves time on both sides.

I am really happy with my experiences of this practice. I feel a little confused about obtaining routine appointments, which is probably quite irritating for the Doctors and Receptionists, but they have always found a way to see me when needed.

Joined this surgery approx 18 months ago, had no problem getting my first appointment or following appointments. Very polite on the phone. Like the idea of the nurses station at Forestdale, saves me having to travel into Selsdon, ideal for blood tests etc. would recommend.
