It's too difficult to get an appointment with the dr of choice, often a 3 week wait which just isn't acceptable. Reception staff just don't care. I was recently sent up the ward from the GP and came back with a prescription from the consultant that said urgent on it...receptionist looked at me blankly and told me I couldn't have it until after 5 pm. The GP just looks like he's going through the motions, follows a set pattern every time you speak to him and drifts up and down the corridor. Elmbank needs to get its act together and provide some illusion of caring.
Truly terrible surgery they have no respect for patients, they do not take a complaint seriously even if the doctor is being investigated by the GMC. To improve they need to understand that patients have to be listened to , absolutely appalled.
