The amount of time spent trying to get an appointment remains a source of frustration. Likewise inconsistent face to face consultation with an ever changing face,is not conducive to patient confidence in being able to be fully understood.

Suggested improvements
When the Practice on a daily basis is fully booked have a system that overrides the manual process and automatically sends a pre-recorded message to callers still waiting on the line.At least then you do not have to spend more wasted time to be told nothing available.

I Called for appointment. Told to ring after 10am as it wasn't urgent. Rang next day after 10am to be told no appts to ring Monday at 8am. Appalling situation. I can't order medication until I have a review and I can't have a review until I get an appt which when I ring at 8am the triage say its not urgent so ring after 10am. Unbelievable.

I gave my answers because overall its a nice clean surgery, in order to get through via telephone is an absolute nightmare . Its impossible to get through . It does not matter what time you start ringing the phone is always either constantly engaged or your waiting in a queue for ridiculous lengths of time only to discover once you finally get through all appointments have gone. This now has become very disheartening as a patient I don't bother wasting my time . I now self treat or do without n rely on my immune system in the Twentieth-century this is dispicable. Mon 29th Nov 2021 I have been ringing to get an appointment it has taken 48 Redials 46 of them line engaged atlas the answering machine kicked in only to be placed in a queue at position 28. How amazing is this Service...Not This seriously needs reviewing not satisfied at all. Start of call time was 08.01am & it is nw 08.29am at position 25 nw I cba

Waited in telephone queue for about 35 mins only to be told there were no appointments available and to try ringing the next day.... So i did phone the next day and got the same response...Nigh on impossible to get appointment...... Prescription line nobody answers the phone....

Not to keep us waiting in a queue when no appointments are available.... Somebody please answer phone on prescription line.....

Clean practise and a couple of really good GPs who give great care. However, massively let down by receptionists being incredibly rude and on power trips. No one ever answers the phones, nigh on impossible to get an appointment. Very degrading to beg for help and have access to urgent care and be spoken to so rudely all the time.

Have a word with the receptionists about tact and basic manners!
