On 13/9/17 I had an appointment at 3.50 pm but had to wait until 4.30 pm before I could see the doctor. She did apologize but she also stated that she was not feeling well either (!!!). Unfortunately I was not filled with a great deal of confidence. The doctor was pleasant enough but I feel waiting for 40 minutes was just too long.

I cannot rate the surgery highly enough, no matter what mine or my families illness may have been, we were given time, treated well, listened to and given helpful and clear understanding of what the treatment options were or what medications were suggested. We've lived in several places and Eastwick surger, doctors and team (Dr Galloway in particular) have been all we could ask for and always very reassuring and helpful.

Usual 20 minutes wait for 9.10 appointment to have bloods taken -!! No apology I work as a carer and can't be late. Dr seen 3 weeks ago unable to offer any help with some tingling in left an after scan x-ray and bloods.

The reception staff are so nice, friendly and approachable (so unusual for a GP surgery in my experience) I've never had a problem getting an appointment because of the emergency system and the out of hours service. I saw Dr Dawson and Hawkins, both where really lovely, they listened to me and gave me appropriate care. Dr Hawkins also suggested resources I could use such as online mindfulness websites which where a great help. I did see another doctor there who was quite rude to me about my weight, after I told him I'd not been able to eat for a week he said 'well it's not like you're going to waste away' and 'this is what a thin person looks like' pointing at himself. I just wont see him again and if he's reading this, you didn't help me, it's a pity you couldn't see past my weight and just treat the problem I came for because it got worse after I visited you and I was in alot of pain. With the kind guidance of another GP I now lost 3.5 stones and I'm on medication to control the acid reflux I came to you for help with. Maybe next time try not to be so judgemental and nasty.

As a new patient at the surgery after being at my previous practice for my entire life, I was very worried and anxious about the move because I have long term physical and mental health issues. Registering with them was very easy. The inital appointment with the practice nurse was very good. She was very informative and explained everything in simple terms. As I needed an urgent appointment with a doctor regarding repeat prescriptions that were due, the receptionists went above and beyond to accomodate my needs and after checking with a doctor she booked me in for an appointment the very next morning. During my appoinment with Dr Perinparajah, she immediately put me at ease, and as we discussed my medication she took on board my suggestions, whilst explaining the risks and benefits of each medication. She very clearly listened to everything I said and made the whole appointment feel positive. She also advised on what to do if I require longer appointments in the future. Overall I am very pleased with the service and glad we chose this practice.
