Years back I mentioned I was in agony over my spine and luckily I had private healthcare who spotted I was a week away from being made disabled and gave me a fusion. Unfortunately east Hampstead surgery didn't spot the severity of it... Could have been an absolute disaster...thank goodness I had private healthcare! When going back and I mentioned the back problem again and that I needed physio on the NHS they just plied me with tablets. Surely I, as a British citizen who has worked from the age of 15 and has always paid my taxes should be entitled to the nhs funds? I paid privately for my actual operation so why is the dr resisting using the nhs funds for this??? When trying to book an appointment... It's incredibly frustrating as its near on impossible.
