I have been very impressed with surgery, having been able to book a doctors appointment for the next day and quickly seen for blood tests. The receptionists have been very helpful. Well done.

I feel very lucky that I’m registered with this Practice. All the staff are so friendly and helpful, from the receptionists, nurses and doctors, they make it an easy place to visit.
Today I had to have a blood test, never good for me as the last time some one tried for 45 minutes in St Thomas’s hospital to find a vein! I was greeted by the always smiling Debbie at reception, who is so welcoming and a pleasure to see. The nurse Louise was fab, I didn’t even feel the needle and the blood was taken in seconds, what a contrast. I was a bit confused with some information concerning my previous blood test, so Louise wrote the figures all down for me and showed me how my levels have been over the last few years. She is a real credit to the practice as all your staff are. Thank you and keep up the excellent work.

Attended today for flu jab and was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by the lovely lady with pink hair, I think she said her name was Louise?
She’s taken my blood a few times over the past 2 years and I’m always amazed I never feel it, so when she called me today I was reassured.
Again, no pain and she was so upbeat that I left with a smile.
It was so busy at the reception I was worried it would take ages, but I didn’t even have time to complete my form before the lady called me.
Another positive experience with my Doctors, I know how lucky I am compared to friends.

I have been a patient here for some 12 years now and have always been impressed with the care and treatment I have received. My current GP is Dr Mash and she is extremely helpful, caring and supportive. While she was away I saw Dr Woodward and she was exactly the same. Indeed she managed to get me over my white coat syndrome which was affecting my, already, high blood pressure!
I never feel rushed and am always given time to express my views and concerns. It is the nature of surgeries that doctors will, sometimes, be running late. I never mind this as I am aware that it is important that every patient gets the time and attention they need
Friends have commented on difficult reception staff at other practices - in my experience, anyway, this is not true of Eastclff. The staff are friendly and efficient
My one criticism is that it can be sometimes hard to get an appointment with your own doctor. Having said that I completely understand the pressures that medical practices are under and, recently, there seem to be more on line appointments available and I have taken advantage of these.

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review and for your kind comments which have been shared with the doctors and staff at the practice. I am sorry that you are finding it so difficult to get an appointment with your usual doctor. As you say locally we face significant problems with a shortage of GPs locally which unfortunately means that doctors here are carrying much higher lists of patients resulting in even more demand to see them. We are doing all we can to take the pressure off our doctors so for example we have established an Acute Care Team who can see patients with urgent on the day problems freeing up valuable GP appointments for those patients with long term or ongoing problems where continuity of care is important.

My Husband and myself are so lucky to be patients at East Cliff Practice, the staff in all departments are always so kind and helpful as well as very professional,Doctor Kent is such kind lovely Doctor we both thank her for all the care she has shown.
