Even tho Dr Pick was running 40mins late,he still allowed all the time needed to explain my problems & talked thro each point clearly, examining me whilst asking questions & listened to my thoughts & concerns and when he explained the probable causes, referred me to the hospital to the department that can help me. He also reasured me about my pain levels in general due to my number of chronic illness's & conditions & is helping me, thro time & support, to reduce the extremely high doses of controlled drugs i take, sorted out problems with my repeat prescriptions & wants to see me regulary so everything can be checked/monitored and if that wasnt enough, he gave both my husband & myself our Flu Jabs early so i didnt have to struggle to get to the surgery again next week as he knows how hard it is for me to get out of the house due to my health. As far as the consultation was, i was very happy & grateful. My only nag is when i have to call to make a double appointment, there is never any available (i cant always get out to que at 8am due to being so unwell) yet rules say if you have more than 1problem, you need to book the equivelent no of appointments but even if you do get thro on the phone eventually...most appts have gone or certainly no doubles & even trying 2book a double 4December, the receptionist cudnt access the December slotsyet & there was not one double between today (28th Oct) & last day of Nov...i was told to ring next week!! See the cycle? But its just the sheer pressure the Drs are under so i do understand.
