During these challenging times we are finding an increasing number of patients are finding the eConsult service an easier way to access the surgery without having to hold on a phone line. My wife and I have been patients of Dr, Michael Pick, who has always given us excellent service since we moved to Broadstairs in 2004. He is patient, kind, knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble. Also, the nurses and receptionists give excellent service with a cheerfull and patient manner.
Furthermore, the recently introduced telephone system whereby you are kept online and told your position in the queue is a great improvement for the practice.
Like all hospital and GP. practices in this country, they are overrun by weight of nunbers but they cope admirably.

I love this surgery and feel very lucky when I hear about others experiences in the area. If I'm not treated with respect and courtesy I am the type to complain, with this in mind, I think I have only made one compliant here in the last 15yrs and this was resolved immediately without any issue. All staff are customer focused, professional and considerate. The phone lines installed last year have really made getting through difficult, which while frustrating, this is not the fault of any of the frontline staff and I know they are as unhappy with the situation as patients are. Thank you East Cliff, please keep doing what you do.

Nearly hour and a half waiting for an appointment - again! Not good enough with children waiting getting more and more impatient and hungrier by the minute, this is every time at this surgery, nobody explains that there is such a long wait

We are sorry for the long wait you experienced. Doctors will normally only run late because they have had to deal with an emergency or complex issue earlier in the afternoon. Our Reception team will always do their best to advise patients when a doctor is running behind and will be happy to give you an idea of how long you are likely to have to wait. The challenge we have is if we were to offer longer appointments to deal with the more complex issues it would mean we end up offering fewer appointments which would only add to the pressures on an already under doctored area.
