Phillip Alstead. He has a reputation that precedes him. I have friends who have changed practices due to him, and myself and family refuse to have appointments with him. His is confrontational, unprofessional and his grasp of the truth is questionable. My personal experience with him has been nightmarish and I would absolutely not recommend your meeting with him without witnesses present. I have personally informed him and the Surgery that any communication with him and myself must be through the General Medical Council London.

Everything. I have forwarded my concerns to Senior Management at the St Gile’s Crescent Surgery Wrexham.

I am very anxious about seeing doctors, but when i called the other day for provision of a fit to work form from my doctor i was treated very poorly by a certain receptionist which makes me even less likely to book an appointment for care should i be ill. Some receptionists are very nice, others need training in customer care desperately.

This practice desperately needs some sort of online prescription service. The female doctors are nice, but the receptionists are the worst I've ever come accross. Perhaps they could start advising people about emergency prescribing pharmacies also.

Dr Pam is a fantastic general practitioner. Nothing is ever too much trouble for her and her duties are carried out with the highest integrity. All other medical and administrative staff are also very pleasant. The only thing I think needs improving is the way in which repeat prescriptions have to be ordered. For people like myself who order a number of items on repeat prescription each month, it is a hassle to go down to the practice each time to post a slip in the box, the job of requesting prescriptions is made harder by the fact that parking is a massive issue. This could be improved and made easier for patients if the surgery offered an online repeat prescription request service.
