Doctor lamb was very understanding and did all she could to help in a friendly and professional way. Patricia the receptionist went out of her way to help us to get a prescription to make a blood test easer. Thank you so much for giving us the time and understanding we needed.
Doctors are great. Some don't always take the time to properly sort a problem but some are really really great - Dr C Phillips especially. The real problem is getting an appointment! I had recently moved surgeries a few weeks before I would need a checkup and blood tests for my chronic condition, and - under the previous doctor's instructions - called up to book these, only to be told the nearest appointment was 3 weeks away!. The receptionist was extremely rude and gave me a lecture on what I should have done differently, despite me informing her I was simply following instructions of a doctor. She eventually booked me in on a sooner appointment after deciding it was necessary. Booking another appointment a few weeks later, was then told the wait was now 4 weeks! Again another receptionist lecture about medical emergencies and then I had a phone call with the Duty Doctor who sorted out an appointment for me.
My condition causes me a deal of discomfort and the actions of the receptionists, along with the massive waiting times for appointments, has left me severely disappointed in the service provided.
The staff at reception are so very kind and always go above and beyond whenever I need help. I have recently been diagnosed with a chronic illness and am often in urgent need of a same-day appointment (instead of going to A+E, the reception staff always do whatever they can to help and this means so much to me - if I can avoid the A+E then I am less susceptible to dangerous infections, not to mention the comfort of seeing a Doctor who knows me and who I don't have to repeat my long history to!)
Thank you
Just had a call back appointment with Dr Olaveson. He was extremely unhelpful and didn’t seem bothered...almost like he just wanted to end the call quickly. I’m 35 weeks pregnant and didn’t come away from the call reassured which I thought drs are meant to do. Really never spoken to a dr like that before.
I have been seeing Dr Telford and she has been great with me . I always leave feeling much better and satified with her advice . I also on occasion see Dr saithorp and he as well is a great dr, helped me and my son a lot . He took his time explaining never rushed us . They are both caring doctors, I don’t know what to do with out them .
