Got in same day, great!.
Clair n reception has the patience of a saint!.
She responds calmly and professionally to a myriad of requests and without let up. I do hope that you appreciate the great work that she is doing here!.
I am writing to complain about the treatment that I received from one of the receptionists. I had requested an appointment as a temporary resident as I have just moved to the area, but was refused on the basis that I was intending to register. :I explained that I had had a temperature of 38-40 degree C over the past three nights and that as I have a chronic health condition and have had extensive chemotherapy, I urgently required to see a doctor. The response I received was, "Well, its probably best you get yourself registered then". I was then advised that it might be 8-10 days before I could see a doctor. Not only is this attitude rude and unhelpful, it is negligent - if I waited 8-10 days I would most likely be in hospital with neutropenic sepsis. I understand that the receptionists are not physicians, but they should listen to the patient and respect the patient's knowledge and opinions.
I used to be extremely well looked after but not anymore. There is always a problem with my prescription and even if I've personally spoken to receptionists - there is still no prescription or my problem solved.
I came to pick up my script and of course it wasn't there, even after being told it would. I was very upset.
(Treatment refers to my 9 yr old daughter).
I can't believe that every doctor's surgery once a month for an afternoon. We ended up being told to go to A and E for treatment for a razed elbow as there was no nurse available anywhere to dress this wound - all it needed was someone trained in first aid.
