Very bad
My husband and I would truly like to thank Joy Ajanaku, one of the receptionists at The Delamere Medical Practice. On the 19th May my husband had chest pain and wanted to wait to see if it passed. I rang our GP practice for advice and Joy was absolutely amazing. She told me very calmly that she was calling 999 for an ambulance in order to get him checked out and hopefully they would be with us within the hour, and if I had not heard anything within the hour to call back. The ambulance arrived in 30 minutes and the crew were wonderful. My husband was admitted to the MRI hospital Ward 3 Cardiology Unit, and after numerous tests he had a stent fitted on Friday 27th May and was able to return home. He is now recuperating and in the safe care of the Delamere Practice. Huge thanks to Dr Azam, Hayley and Kelly whom have all been wonderful during the past couple of years making sure we got our Covid Vaccines to keep us safe whilst caring for a family member. We have today found out that Joy is going to University to study. We wish her every success in her future career, and a big thanks to the NHS who are second to none.
I can't even get an appointment, not because they're booked up but because you have to do a questionnaire too decide if they will even give you an appointment. I am a long term patient of this service and rarely use it, but when I need them, they're not there. Previous to the website it was impossible to get through on the phone (didn't even have call waiting for a long time). Now all appointments are booked through a 3rd party application where your address not allowed to see a doctor unless you reach criteria for illness that is not clear. It's disgusting amoral and failed three most vulnerable (not I, thankfully)
Receptionists are rude
Had a serous case Of salmonella and was told by text
You can never get an appointment and are rushed through
Patient care is awful. Too many patients for one centre- they’re more interested in the money
My 85 year old father called to make an appointment on the 2nd of January 2020 only to be told the next available appointment was the 13th. When he explained he hadn't left the house for 7 days ,because of his illness, he was told to go to the nearest walk in centre. This would have been difficult as he had other personal issues. His name wasn't asked for nor his age or ability to get to a walk in centre. My brother complained and asked for a home visit. My father was given an appointment for later that day. Not very caring or compassionate
