Crossroads Medical Practice

I have now moved my family to a different practice due to the exceedingly poor standard of care at Crossroads. Getting an appointment with a doctor is a Herculean feat, and when finally accomplished, usually results in seeing another new face with resulting lack of continuity of care. The final straw came at an appointment with my daughter, who has a yet to be diagnosed problem with her foot/leg which has caused her much pain and impacted on her mobility for more than 18 months. After we had explained the problem and case history, the locum never so much as examined my daughter, she advised that she didn't know what tests could be ordered for a 17 year old, and she was just a locum and would be finishing at 12 noon. She said she would ask the practice nurse and someone would call later that day. Needless to say, that call never came. I honestly believe that the lack of stability in staffing is placing patients' health at risk. I feel sorry for those staff that remain, but sorrier still for their patients.
