national prescription transmission went down
surgery staff insisted pharmacy had order
pharmacy told me of breakdown
staff denied all knowledge of breakdown
staff unable to repeat prescription
finally one civil receptionist told me I needed to talk to a doctor
doctor called back as I was told and repeated prescription
now I know not to ask the staff for help
but to ask for a call from a GP
pity it took so many calls for me to be told this
I came to this surgery after having a stroke three years ago. My then doctors and, in particular, the head receptionist showed little or no concern for my welfare, whatsoever. She refused point blank to let me speak to my doctor nor would she make an appointment for that day. She laughed when I said I was still feeling unwell in the afternoon and told me to call an ambulance if it was that bad. I had been in hospital three days previously and the doctor (whose English was quite bad but she made me feel she cared and took time to sit with me and reassure me the best she could) She told me to commence with treatment from my doctor. The day after the receptionist refusal to let me speak or see my doctor (an appointment was granted for the following week - 4 days away) I was taken ill that day in Chertsey and brought to St Peters where I received outstanding service. On release I was advised by a doctor in St Peters to look for another doctor. That's when I went to Cross Deep Surgery and its where I continue to get first class service. The best way to describe them is ''Tough Birds with hearts of gold''.
The kindness of the whole team is an essential addition to the diligence and professionalism of the medical staff. NHS at its most excellent.
The Cross Deep service is good and all the stuff are nice and with hot welcome to patient.
I have been a patient of Cross Deep Surgery since moving to the area 20 years ago.
Couldn't recommend it more highly.
