Call at 8am and still wait on hold for 20-30 mins then get told all appointments are taken for the day. Impossible to try get an appointment. Then if you do it's a telephone call! Not helpful at all. Covid was 3yrs ago why are we still being telephoned and not a face to face appointment? Staff can be rude and abrupt. One in particular has no manners whatsoever. Their ANP is a credit to them though, she is excellent

Suggested improvements
Fix the telephone system Take on board complaints and deal with them appropriately Have f2f appointments

I've experienced lots of problems from day one with this surgery. Most recently I was sent for a diabetes eye test, I'm not diabetic, I questioned this by received no response until a day after the appointment advising this was an error. Then I was sent a letter for a CKD/ Diabetes blood test which I also questioned but again no response until I questioned with the nurse after the blood was taken why was I being given this test? she didn't know either. I asked the reception staff if they were mixing me and my husband up because he is diabetic but I'm not, they insisted they were not , but then sent an email stating that the blood test I had just had was for a repeat cholesterol test, trying to cover up there mistake. I responded by sending them a copy of the letter clearly showing it was a CKD/ Diabetes blood test. I feel these two Diabetes Test are important to my husband and now he has to wait much longer because of their mistakes. I have high BP and Cholesterol but couldn't get my results for quite some time after, I could have had a heart attach but then they really are not at all bothered about this, I had to request a doctors appointment myself to request if I need medication which was canceled because I'm moving practice to try and prevent further mix ups between me and my husband and because I have lost confidence with the staff at this surgery. The doctors themselves are fine it's just the Office Manager , one of the Complaints Officers (due to covering up a errors) and some others are just unhelpful. I've never received an apology and only experienced them trying to cover up their mistakes. Mixing patients up can cause serious implications and can be life threatening.

Suggested improvements
1) No mix up patients 2)Apologise when mistakes where pointed out, and not attempt to cover this up. 3) when patient questions something, don't just ignore patients concerns, listen and check this, reply to patient. This will help prevent further mistakes. 4) Don't lie about a blood test being for cholesterol when the letter clearly states it's a CKD/ Diabetes blood test. 5) Understand your patients are not stupid, can read and know you have made a mistake again. 6) Don't delay giving blood test result out, my cholesterol test was done 3/5/2022 , I didn't get results until 19/5/2022 which was high (7) this and the fact I have high BP is not good, I have informed the practice before of history in my family of heart attacks.

I have experienced first hand the callous behaviour of the staff towards the patients. If you attend this Medical Practice because you need help or to see a doctor you are an inconvenience and treated as such.

Suggested improvements
Replace staff that are unhelpful that have been complained about by various patients.

I was trying to get help with my mental health because I have been experiencing suicidal thoughts, it took me two weeks to get a phone appointment, my medication was increased but I had to order my medication myself online. Then I received a call from a nurse who gave me a few online sites for self-help, no talking therapy or contact with a person even though I had suicidal thoughts, she then advised me that if I had suicidal thoughts I should phone my GP which I had already done but received very little help ( you can never get through most of the time and if you do you have to wait two weeks for an appointment). I felt like maybe they wanted me to commit suicide because I actually feel worse when i have contact with my surgery.

Suggested improvements
Referring people to people and not computer courses for mental health problems would be a help. Treating people with respect would also be helpful. Having appointments on the day available and not two weeks later.
