Highly recommend Dr. Thompson. He is obviously very busy, but always caring, goes out of his way to help out and asks all the right questions to ensure i get the most appropriate treatment for my concerns. He's one of those doctors who not only takes great care of my physical health, but always makes me feel safe and protected too. An absolute treasure of a GP! The ladies at reception are very professional, but friendly too. I am generally able to book an appointment for times convenient for me, of course the wait is longer in busy periods, but nothing out of the ordinary. Only unpleasant experience at the surgery was with Dr.Manson. I was once given an appointment with him as my GP wasn't available and he couldn't have cared less about my issue. I hadn't even explained what was was wrong when he announced that he's got 3 other patients waiting and couldn't spend more time with me. Was advised to rebook. I have been going to this surgery for 10 years with my family. Our GP Dr Thompson has always treated all of us very well and is very caring with my elderly parents. The surgery does a lot to make sure it has the equipment, etc it needs and is very active with fundraising activities. It is impeccably clean and there is a professional but friendly atmosphere.
