Reception staff very rude. Quickly get you off the phone. They don't even ask why you want to see a doctor & just fob you off with 'call back at 8am the next day' not everyone can call back at 8am the following day & even if you do, you can't get an appointment.
Suggested improvements
Actually ask patients what there need to see a doctor are before fobbing them off. Not all problems are extreme enough for a&e or atleast offer a call from a doctor for patients reassurance.

Waited for three days for an appointment to see a doctor, not my GP but a Dr Mason. Turned up 10 minutes early, logged in my arrival and then waited for half-an-hour to see nobody. I was the only person in the waiting room! Left. Feeling really unwell with chest pains and palpitations for a week whcih they knew about when I made the appointment. Better off going under a blue light to A&E!

I have been registered here around 3 years and I am very happy with the service generally. The receptionists always seem very friendly and I have recently seen both nurse andrea and Helen white and felt they went out of their way to help me and I left feeling very happy with the outcome.

Lack of compassion and consideration for patient feelings or situation. This is not just a single occurrence and appointment request is accompanied by 'and not with...' . Very high-handed and arrogant attitude by a senior doctor who should get some bedside manner training, or better yet, another job.
Other members of staff are clearly trying hard to work around this and are sympathetic to the issues.

The Doctors and Nurses are fantastic, very thorough and caring, The receptionist staff however have no Customer Service skills whatsoever! they are rude, unprofessional and talk down to you, (especially a certain one of them). Once you get past this and finally get an appointment the rest is a breeze,
