My experience at Cockfosters Medical Centre has been disappointing, to say the least. The staff members exhibit rude and unprofessional behavior, which is completely unacceptable in a healthcare setting. Not only do they fail to follow policies and procedures, but they also lack empathy and basic courtesy towards patients. One of the most glaring issues is the absence of a clear and accessible complaint pathway. When trying to address concerns, it feels like hitting a brick wall. The process is convoluted, and it takes an unnecessarily long time to have even the simplest of issues resolved. Moreover, there seems to be a toxic and unwelcoming culture pervading the medical centre. Instead of feeling supported and cared for, patients are met with defensiveness and hostility when raising concerns. It is deeply concerning that voicing a problem leads to confrontation rather than constructive dialogue. Overall, Cockfosters Medical Centre falls short of providing the level of care and support that patients deserve. The staff’s behavior, lack of adherence to procedures, and failure to address complaints effectively create an environment that is detrimental to patients’ well-being. Urgent action is needed to address these systemic issues and foster a culture of accountability and respect within the medical centre.

Change of management and update the schedule. Emily more efficient desk people who can deal with any challenges and urgencies.

POOR STANDARDS, RUDE DISRESPECTFULL PRACTICE MANAGER, RUDE RECEPTIONISTS , DOCTOR CANT BE BOTHERED DOESNT CARE TO LISTEN, WRONG DIAGNOSE OF PROBLEM. CHANGING SURGERY ASAP AVOID AVOID AVOID

The worst surgery I have ever been to, I just registered, big regrets, this surgery lacks in respect, passion, care, ethos, should I go on, I had an appointment it lasted 2 minutes and the medication I was prescribed was wrong without a proper check the doctor just came to the conclusion that I needed steroids and codeine for a cough, when I asked the doctor can you give me something else his reply was a nod, I left feeling low and not cared for, I complained to the practice manager she was rude and threatening I thought she would be understanding instead she was horrible. I am changing GP as this is not for me, my worry is that public safety is a big issue as this surgery does not care about there patients welfare.
