I called to get a call back as I was In serious need of some eye ointment. It was confirmed what prescription I required and what pharmacy I would be using. When I arrived at Boots, they told me that the surgery had instead printed the prescription out. Confused. Which means I now have to go to the Surgery. But wait the Surgery is not open on the weekend. So I still have to wait, with my eyes all inflamed. Thanks guys. I've been struggling with them. Kind regards Neville Belle

Actually you should have sent my prescription electronically in the first place.

On two separate occasions I have received substandard care and poor treatment. This applies to a specific doctor Norman Byrd whom I have had the misfortune of visiting on two separate ocassions. On my first occasion he was aggressive and i felt he totally belittled me. I am a long time sufferer of a condition, he presumed to tell me what I should be feeling and was extremely arrogant and self absorbed. I gritted my teeth and was glad to leave the room vowing to never book an appointment with him again. On the second occasion I had to see an available doctor and he was the only one available. I visited him with my elderly mother with various health problems he failed to take a detailed history considering it was the first time visit for my mother, I tried to provide the best account possible with my limited knowledge and I was accused of being facetious and in an arrogant tone was asked "Am I a doctor!?!" after which he just ignored me and continued to as a barrage of questions to my mother of whom suffers from dimentia. I found him to be more concerned with his own opinions than patient care, when i tried to explain that I was the full time carer of my mother he was immediately flippant and over reacted and said "I will not be spoken to like that!, you should see another doctor!", I fail to understand how I was being rude? He failed to provide us with a referral that my mum requires, we got up to walk out of the room in protest only then did he offer to look at my mums prescriptions which she desperately required. Even at point he was being hesitant in providing the service and as we left the room he gloatingly said "you should see another doctor!", we said thank you! When reporting this to main reception we were told to provide a complaint in writing as the practise manager was busy. I could clearly tell this is not the first time a complaint has been made about this doctor. I have subsequently spoken to several neighbours and they have all confirmed that this doctor is simply appalling with his treatment to patients. Considering that this practise has a "Zero Tolerance Policy" for its staff members where does that leave its patients with an over zealous managing practice doctor? Thats right he is the managing doctor of the Practice! There are several great doctors at this practise however I am hesitant to return due to my experiences.
