Sometimes the telephone call queue can be long.

In this current warm spell the waiting area could have been cooler as I was sweating for about 15 minutes for my appointment.

This appointment was for my wife’s 12 week B12 booster. It was carried out by the lovely Lisa who is a real gem. Always puts us at ease, and always friendly, helpful and supportive in a positive way. The only downside was to hear that she is leaving the practice.

Suggested improvements
You could and should have done more to support Lisa. There are signs in the practice stating that abuse towards staff will not be tolerated, and yet we understand that she has really been let down by management, who have done nothing to help her during this difficult time.

You made me an appointment without telling me I’m a housebound bed bound woman that can’t even get out the house to the surgery and then sent me a message to say I had missed my appointment then send me another message to ask about my experience at the appointment and get a joke

Actually check patient records and telephone me when making me a appointment I know nothing about

It's my first appointment with my new surgery, having recently transferred to The Clarkson. I'm very impressed by the professionalism and overall experience.

Having to phone from 8.30 and holding on for so long. Then having to wait for a call back.

Not really. It is what it is. So many people to cope with needing attention.

We have recently upgraded our telephone system which is making it easier for patients to get through to us however we are now in staff peak holiday season so we don't have our entire staff team every day. We have also recently offered our patients the opportunity to save their place in the queue and for us to call you back on the number you called us from to save you holding which again is making a positive difference.
