I have been with this practice for over 70 years and never in all that time have I been unable to get an appointment with my designated doctor, but this week I have tried every day and been told “no appointments until the end of February”. I was told by the last receptionist to call each day at 8 o’clock to see if there was a slot and I would then be seen probably 2 days later. So tried that this morning, dead on 8. No answer. Then, each time I dial, I’m told it’s busy but can use call back only to be told the service is not available. Finally, at 20 past eight I get put on hold, wait 10 minutes, still waiting and give up. Tried several times after and still get the same results What is one supposed to do to get an appointment at this surgery I am 81 years old, recently lost my husband and suffering severe pain in my hip making it painful to walk and keeping me awake at night Suppose I’d better start trying again!!!!!!
