The doctors are ok but the receptionists are terrible. Rude, officious. Awful.
After a nasty fall I was treated gently and with expertise. Especial thanks to Jean Acheson, Teresa Sturton and Dr Mummery.
One has to phone at 8am to get an appointment- but the phone is then permanently engaged and this can be a problem but the staff do try to find a slot.
Many thanks to all.
I phoned for an urgent appointment regarding my daughters ear infection. There were no appointments not surprisingly. However, the on-call doctor (Dr Hills) called us back and said she would fit us in that evening as an extra. We arrived 15 minutes later and were seen within 10. I know it's hardly life-threatening but they were extremely efficient and kind and went out of their way to help, all of them. Very grateful.
Getting an appointment can be very difficult, often having to call up later in the day to see if there are any cancellations. However there is normally the option of visiting one of the other centres if there is a slot free.
The reception staff are always polite and do the upmost to book an appointment to suit you - always offering differing times to suit your needs. The doctors strive to give the best care possible, and always have a listening ear. Clear plans are put into place and you are included in your care.
