As her health care professional I was disgusted at todays call, my husband has COPD , and few other problems , last year admitted with sepsis , pneumonia, was unable to get him to see GP today or visit , even though I explained that he has all signs of a bad chest infection , told need to go to Rayleigh , I explained he could not make it there as can’t walk far and doesn’t have a disability badge so would not be able to walk , our surgery is right next to parking . Requested a visit The receptionist stated he can’t have a Gp visit because he is mobile , although I already explained he isn’t mobilize enough to be able to do this . Very unhappy even requested a call , this is very poor service and very dangerous .
