It is so hard to get through on the phone to book anything. You are normally in a queue and even if you get to the number 1 position you can be waiting for 10-15 minutes to be answered. I have had a doctor loose my referral to see another doctor for an procedure that they themselves couldn’t do and been told it’s going to be at least another 3 weeks to be seen again!

It’s a 30 second injection!!! Surely I could be booked in to be seen earlier. I appreciate that mistakes can be made as we are human but the receptionist is not the person in discomfort and wasn’t very sympathetic to the problem!

I have been to the surgery 3 times recently and everyone has been very helpful. Dr Marian was lovely, caring, listened to me and was very thorough. I needed a follow up appointment and received a text from the surgery to remind me. I’ve also had a blood test and the young lady who was doing it again was lovely, polite and very gentle. I also saw Nurse Karen who put me at ease and managed to carry out my procedure successfully, again a very nice nurse. I have also came and had my flu vaccination, it was organised really well and although there was a queue I did not have to wait too long.

Very difficult to get an. Appointment. Hod on for more than an hour only to be cut off when you are caller no 1 When you finally get to speak to anyone the staff are not very helpful. Very combative in nature . Had to ask my friend to try and call on my behalf after 6 weeks of trying

More reception staff that are trained to deal with the public and who understand difference

Went to the reception today waited in line when it was my turn was asked by Avis could they help me I moved forward to speak and was told to wait by her as she had started a conversation with another member of staff about how badly they had been talked to by another patient I heard details of description of the patient etc after about 5 mins of waiting listening to them gossip was asked what I wanted told her I had a blood test and help as antibiotics did not agree with me could I please change them was given an eye roll by Avis and told I should have told the doctor before so it was on my notes I felt like she was telling me off like I was a child and donor appreciate the way she talked to me I have dementia and cannot process things quickly left the surgery very upset that I was talked to like that the rest of the staff were lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful this lady needs more training in interpersonal skills

She needs her skill set reviewed not be the face that talks to the public politeness costs nothing

Of late I have had reason to use Churchview surgery, on each occasion the Doctors have been very informative, very pleasant and helpful in diagnosing the issue and taking the relevant actions. I could not have asked for better care or service
