This practice is set up to prevent the inconvenience of having the Doctors deal directly with their patients! So much for continuity of care from a single medical professional. After waiting for up to an hour to speak to the surgery when phoning in the morning you are informed that no appointments can be made with any doctor and that the person answering the incoming call has the authority to decide whether your situation deems worthy of even a reciprocal phone call from a nurse practitioner! this initial phone call connected eventually after a diatribe from a resident doctor which is repeated EVERY TIME the phone is eventually answered. Once the receptionist has decided a course of action ( in my case a urine specimen to be analysed ) the fun and games really start! Having been told to ring back after 2.00pm the following day for the results meaning up to half an hour after going through the same 'welcome' diatribe from the Doctor only to be told ring back tomorrow. After 4 days of this then to be told that the results came back two days earlier! And the results were deemed 'normal' As no details were ever asked regarding the initial problem then God only knows what the sample had been tested for! If out of frustration you attempt as I did to try an online consultation then you may if like me to be told to phone 111 or attend your local A &E! Disgraceful!!!!

Very hard to see a GP - tell you to ring 111 because they have no appointments available - when you ring 111 ( during the day ) they say the GPS should be taking the call - etc etc Referrals not done - medication not reviewed - hard to get appointment - no follow up - prescription repeat system ridiculous They need more GPs and if they can’t get them they need to declare honestly to the relevant authorities that they are unable to provide the service

Triage system blatantly set up to be a obstructive deterrent to patients calling.for appointments. You must call in the morning to get a telephone consultation, which may or may not happen anyway even if you are deemed worthy of recieving a gp phone consultation .Usually receptionists state all consultations for the day have gone and to call again the next day. This can go on for weeks!! Rarely will you meet a doctor face to face at this surgery. More chance of growing hair on your teeth!! Gp will constantly refer to the computer algorithm to see which is cheapest option normally a pill of some description as interventions or investigations deemed too expensive or troublesome. An absolutely disgracefull service offered here best advice go elsewhere! !!

Extremely rude and unhelpful receptionists - no appointments whatsoever available with my own gp, yet one of the many "you must do" notices states "book with your own gp" yet impossible. Was given information over the phone about what steps to take over a prescription, went to surgery to as agreed, to be met with one receptionist in particular whose catch line appears to be "well I'm not prepared to do it". Worth the laugh though when I relayed the tale to a friend who later accompanied me to the surgery for a different matter, only to be met with the same little madam and same punchline!

I tried to book an appointment on line and the messages advises there are no available appointments. On telephoning the automated system the first available appointment is in two weeks time. Although I don't feel I need an urgent on the day appointment a two week wait appears excessive. What system is in place for patients requiring an appointment, but not necessarily an on the day appointment. You need some system in between.
