1.Doctor asked me to come in as I had been having issues for 4 weeks and had been unable to get an appointment. She gave me a time (9:30) and I advised that I could be there no problem but had a hospital appointment at 10am (its only a 2 minute drive). Got there at 9:27 and by 9:50 I hadn't been taken or even advised that the doc was running late. I said to the receptionist I had to leave and she said "I'll tell doctor you wouldn't wait" to which I replied, "no, I have waited - I CAN'T wait any longer" to which she shrugged her shoulders. I asked about another appointment and she said call back tomorrow at 8am. Now I'm still in pain and trying to register at a new doctors and get an appointment. This is just the latest in a long line of issues and I cannot go back to a seemingly uncaring staff. 2.They didn't send my prescription to the pharmacy although they said they did. Pharmacy said I would be quicker walking to surgery and asking them for it which I did. When I buzzed the door, the receptionist said I had to phone and ask for it to which I replied that I had already and I was advised it was at the pharmacy. She cited CV-19 precautions as to why she couldn't let me in. She said i'd need to phone back and ask again. So i did, had to tell my story 3 different times. 20 minutes later a lady came out with my prescription. Not a bit of PPE or anything and handed me the prescription. This was the middle of winter and I was absolutely freezing but needed the prescription. 3. Doc advised me to buy my own blood pressure monitor which i did (£30) and when I came in next, I asked the nurse to check my BP on my monitor and hers to check they were giving similar read outs. She told me I had completely wasted my money and that I should only get it done at GPS...I then said to her maybe she should let the Doctor know that then as it was he who told me to get it. I could go and should have complained at each one of these instances, because if they're doing that to me, you can be sure it will be happening to others.

Suggested improvements
1. Let me know the doc was running late. Teach empathy. 2. Use common sense 3. Ask questions rather than assume I decided myself to purchase a BP monitor
