Once there didn't wait very long to see the doctor he explained everything to me and was very helpful and polite
Been with Charing for a year. Moved one mile out of the boundary, having already been 6 miles away. Told by GP to write to Practise Manager to ask to stay with them. Get a letter back from Administration on dated 16 August, saying they are not accepting NEW patients outside the boundary, and giving me 30 days notice to find another GP. I have Stage IV cancer, not likely to die within 10 yrs. Also a mental health diagnosis which makes change difficult. I have never requested a home visit and would happily not have them. They have treatment like a piece of dirt. I get a letter from NHS England today, dated 17 August saying they have been informed by my GP I have moved outside of their boundary and I have 30 days to find another GP. I am appealing to the Head GP, as this contravenes the Equality Act, 2010 and the Human Rights Act, 1998. Quite frankly I am disgusted.
A very good and easy experience from start to finish
I would like to say thank you to Nurse practitioner who sorted my issue with puffer. She made sure i got the correct one and refunded the money.
Also i would like to thank you Loraine Nurse practitioner who really put me in easy when i was worried after my day surgery, when i had a paid. She examined me and was very nice.
Getting an appointment is impossible. I tried phoning through at 8am and can never get through to anyone. Ringing through is also a lengthy experience why is the connecting number 5 for an appointment make it number 1. When you do get through, they are always fully booked for doctors’ appointments for that day. Why am I with a surgery that I can’t get an appointment for?
