The appointments system at Charing Surgery has become impossible. Phone triage, whilst a pain is OK. Only being able to book an appointment on the day, for the day is ludicrous. I have a couple of things needing to be looked at by a GP. They are not "urgent" and can be booked a week in advance. My calendar, like a GP's calendar, is busy. My time, and the time of those who work with me is equally valuable. Being able to book an appointment a number of days in advance, with phone triage as a gatekeeper if needed, would make so much sense.

You may as well not answer the phone if you have no appointments. This problem is not urgent but does need addressing by the GP it is a topical skin problem likely bacterial infection in a child....not suitable for a+e or urgent treatment. But 2 pharmacists won't touch us. I work in the NHS and now see how broken it is. No options offered other than inappropriate ones. I just want to send a picture and have a GP call with a prescription for topical cream and can't due to bureaucracy.

May as well have a message immediately saying no appointments or e consult available please try tomorrow morning or clog up our hospitals further.

Not my regular GP surgery, as I was referred for minor surgery. Was very clean and really liked my doctor, but was sent to the wrong waiting area so was late for my appointment.

It was my first time to this clinic and I got stuck in traffic. The sat nav then sent me to the wrong location, so I was a little late. The reception staff were very understanding and helpful. Thankyou very much.

I'd like to say thank you to Nurse Lorraine for the kindness and compassion she has shown to me over the past two months - she has kept my fully updated with my test results, taken time to explain them, allowed me to cry without feeling ashamed and then got me laughing! Thank you Lorraine for "telling me what you would do, for doing it, then helping me to understand, for never rushing me and for giving me time to ask my questions and taking the time to reassure me, when I needed it". I know I was really early this morning...thank you Julie for allowing me to wait in Reception...appreciated.
