Nurse Lorraine - Menopause Care What an outstanding service and care that Nurse Lorraine offers. In my whole menopause journey I have never had this sort of care. Nurse Lorraine is both knowledgeable and caring, thank you so so much, couple with making sure my general health is good, I really couldn’t ask for more. Well done Charing Surgery for providing this care, which I know is not offered or delivered so well in other areas of the country. A big thumbs up

One months worth of prescriptions is not acceptable when you lead a busy life. Why can’t you have could it b because they get a dispensing fee every month instead of bi monthly. If you pay for your vital scripts it’s twice as expensive too! I find the attitude a bit jobsworth tbh ! Nurses seem very nice and competent. Don’t think communication between admin and gps is good enough tbh

Pass the message on to gps and gps need to follow the treatment plan put in place!

I had an appointment for a blood test today. I was relieved when it was Tania Sengupta as she seems to be the only person that can take my blood at the first attempt at Charing surgery. Everyone else that I’ve had has had to have multiple attempts. I can only have blood taken from one arm which doesn’t make it easy but Tania manages it easily!

I had to attend Charing practice in Ashford for a blood test to be done by a practice nurse. Historically I have had problems providing blood as my veins are very small & I advised nurse Heidi of this at my appointment, she was very good, gentle & considerate with me but after 4 attempts to extract blood she needed to another colleague in, in comes nurse Kerry who again was very kind & understanding about my situation, anyway she had a feel around my arms & found a tiny vein that might give some blood, sure enough on the 1st attempt she successfully extracted enough blood from me. We laughed about it afterwards & then told me she was known as the vampire at the practice & in future I could ask for her to do my bloods. So thank you again Heidi & Kerry for being so good with me & I look forward to seeing the vampire Kerry in future
