The receptionists have been rude to me on numerous occasions. The doctors don't seem care or just can't be bothered. The appointment system is very poor. I can't see the same doctor as all appointments are now handled over the phone. You cannot make an appointment if you walk in to the surgery.

Every single member of staff, receptionist, doctor, nurse etc has always been fantastic. I love that no matter what time of day I call, I can always speak to a doctor and I have always been able to get an appointment if needs be. The telephone service ensures that priority is given to the most unwell patients and you can sort things out on the phone rather than having to go into the surgery and waste the doctor's time. I always recommend this surgery to anyone and even though I don't live in Teignmouth now I have stayed with this surgery as I would rather travel further to ensure the best quality of care.

I like the idea of the doctor 'phoning you if he needs to see you concerning your medical situation. One doesn't have to wait long before the call is made. Whenever I phone either Bishopsteignton or Channel View surgeries I am always greeted with a big "Hello" and then a friendly short conversation about my requirements. I am also DELIGHTED that there is no dreadful music in either of the surgeries mentioned.
