I've always found the Cathedral Medical Group very helpful
The surgery doesn't give any regard to patient's right to privacy. All paper sick notes collected from reception are not put in envelopes that would ensure a patient's confidentiality. So if someone other than the patient collects the sick note your ailment can be read by them.
Took me 45 minutes to get through at 8.30am to be told no appointments until 23rd February! I have lost both of my parents recently & my leg has flared up & in pain, receptionist was most unhelpful & rude.
Appointments run out fast and never seem to get taken seriously unless you hit absolute rock bottom with things, which then effects your mental health,
referrals seem to be held off as long as possible along with medication for chronic pain conditions.
I have a life long condition where I have the same medication repeated every month. Before covid, my previous doctors wanted to track my blood pressure etc every three months. This surgery never reaches out for appointments and they make it extremely difficult to arrange them. I have now gone to re-apply for my prescription and have been told I cannot order it until I make an appointment with them to check in. Why can they not reach out to me? Now I have only a week left of my prescription and I’m not currently in Chichester to make an appointment. What do they expect me to do in the mean time. So I call up, and the receptionist changes this on the site for me, but she only accepts half of my prescription through, so from now I’ll be on a lower dosage. Feel completely neglected and mistreated at this particular GP
