I spoke to receptionist Debbie about trying to get a doctors appointment with regards to something extremely medical and she was being quite rude about the fact that it’s nothing to do with her about why I’m needing to see a doctor and I am quite frankly disgusted with the way she spoke to me and dealt with my request my foot is bleeding as I’ve had a pin removed and she was claiming it’s not urgent or in need to see a doctor

Get a better receptionist

Castlehead Medical Centre is an EXCELLENT surgery with very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable staff (ALL of them – from the receptionists to doctors). I have a total confidence in this surgery and am extremely grateful for all the help it has so ably offered me over the years.

I don’t think they could have done anything better: they have offered me excellent support with my osteoarthritis, have helped my husband with his health condition and gave both of us a Covid-19 jab – all of that in a professionally organised and clean setting; what more could a patient ask for?

I had an appointment to see Nurse Sharon for my annual Asthma review plus blood tests for another problem. Sharon was so kind, caring AND gentle when taking the bloods. She made me feel comfortable and totally at ease. I was also given an Inhaler Demo on the computer which was useful, but I have been using an inhaler for 25 years. The Receptionist whose name evades me was equally helpful and cheery. All in all a lovely experience at Castlehead Medical Centre, thank you.
