I don't know about all but one of the part time doctors here is very un helpful and his facial expressions clearly shows that he's not willing to see the patient properly and wants them to leave as soon as possible without listening to the problem clearly. If there's any feedback system in the GP, this doctor wouldn't be working there anymore I'm sure.

On 29th of Match, i attended the surgery. I was to come in following some results of my blood test. When called into the consulting room, the practice nurse was unaware of why i was called back. I took my day off to come a long way to hear that i did not need that appointment? Then after that, i have heard that the receptionist, Denise Maskell, was mimicking and talking in a disrespectful way about me to two other members of the staff. I am wondering whether treating patients luke that is a common practice in this surgery? Unfortunately, this is not the first time this has happened. I asked the receptionist how could she speak about me that way and the fact that i could hear her, she did not even apologise when i said this. I felt upset to be treated in such a manner. As a receptionist, Denise Maskell represents the 'face'of the surgery and ,therefore, it is a poorling that she conducted her self in this way. Dr Alla Yankouskaya

This practice consistently violate patients' rights outlined in NHS Choice Framework and provides unacceptable service. A doctor(not a patient!) in this practice makes the decision of whether give me or refuse me to go for private health care. I was referred by a cancer specialist from Royal Hospital to ultrasound. I requested a letter from the doctor to my private health care. The doctor (M. Bethell) refused it without any reason. This caused a delay in undertaking crucial diagnostic. The receptionist was not helpful. I am working and every time when I need just a simple letter from this practice, I must take holiday day because the poor management in this practice cannot deal with paper work. A similar situation happened recently to my partner. She was waiting for a letter for 3 weeks. I wonder why do we need to have this practice where a simple paper cannot be done?! Very disappointed, this situation caused an additional distress.

I have been going to this surgery for 28 years. Over the past few years I have been becoming more and more unhappy with the care I have received form them, in particular Dr. Halford! He has been my GP since I was a child. Always found him to be really good until recently, I was having trouble getting a diagnosis and he made fun of my mental health! And was very very unwilling to get me a referral to the services that I needed! When I did finally manage to see a specialist I was given a diagnosis and put into the correct medication! Something that would have become extremely serious if I had not received specialist care, no thanks to Dr. Halford! I have also found that other doctors at the practice are not very throur and I am usually left feeling extremely unsatisfied with the care given!
